Hot water tank, wire stolen from residence

Three individuals from Lawrence County were arrested for burglary after they broke into an unoccupied residence and stole numerous items, according to Shenango Township Police.

James McConahy, 40, Thomas Kneram, 51, and Katherine Kneram, 47, all of the New Castle area, were arrested on Saturday for allegedly breaking into the home of an 86-year-old man and stealing electrical wire and hot water tank.

McConahy was found my police inside a truck waiting for the other two suspects.  Thomas and Katherine Kneram were found a short time later after exiting the home.

McConahy, the suspect who sat in his truck, is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.  The other two have several more charges against them.

Both Thomas and Katherine Kneram are charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen property.  Two of the charges are considered felonies.
