Fountain on and running: Another great feature of plaza

Ellwood City Revitalization officially unveiled the latest feature of the Community Plaza Wednesday afternoon – a fountain on the wall of Kimpel’s Jewelers.

“The fountain works beautifully and looks awesome,” said Antonetta Combine,
President of Combine Construction. “The project is moving forward.  The paving will be completed within the next two weeks and the finishing touches will be added soon after.”

The completion of the fountain marks another important point for the construction of the plaza.

Present at Wednesday’s fountain unveil was Todd Hall (Hall Fountains), Paul Rosak( Project Engineer, E.G. & G.), Antonetta Combine, and Jim O’Malley (Valley Plumbing).

The entire Community Plaza project is expected to be done sometime in October or early November and feature some events this winter, including Christmas caroling.  The full grand opening is planned for spring when the greenery will be in bloom.
