Former Ellwood City Parks Director Joseph Cioffi, who recently stepped down from his position with the borough, received a commendation from Ellwood City Mayor Anthony Court and Councilman George Celli, chairman of the Parks & Recreation committee. The commendation recognizes his tenure and work for the borough.
Also, during Monday evening’s Ellwood City Council meeting, Cioffi was recognized and congratulated by all the council members. He thanked everyone for the decade he’s been working with the borough.
Cioffi has served the Borough for 10 years, first as Borough Manager and then as Parks Director. As mentioned on the commendation, his service to the city has been greatly appreciated.
