After both teams failed to qualify for at the Section 5-AA Qualifying Tournament Monday afternoon at Rolling Hills GC, Riverside and Ellwood squared off for their last head-to-head match-up of the season Wednesday afternoon.
The Panthers were paced by a sub-40 round by Jonathon Palinski (39) in disposing of Ellwood City 222-253 in section play. Panther golfers Brandon Santillo (44), Damian Cicchinelli (45), Ian Sutherland (46), and Andrew Blanchette (48) helped Riverside to the victory. Ellwood was paced by Michael Rue who finished with a 41 on the afternoon.
