Mayor Recognizes Wampum Man For Lifesaving Action

Mayor Anthony J. Court was both honored and privileged to present a Commendation to Marc Shoaf, a Wampum resident, who used his training and ability to help a person in need.  Shoaf performed CPR to a person who was electrocuted, using what he has learned in the medical field, until emergency personnel arrived at the location.  Marc who is studying to be a nurse, attending school, and working at the Ellwood City Hospital, kept his composure and did what he is being trained to do—save lives.  Marc is considered a Hero in the eyes of Mayor Court, as well as the victim and his family.
