The City Centre Shoppes will be hosting an Indoor Yard Sale on Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Participants from the Eric Ryan Corporation will be donating 10 percent of their profits to March of Dimes.
“Your purchase will help the March of Dimes fund research into premature birth,” said Brooke Bartolomeo, event organizer. “I can’t see a better cause than helping future generations of babies.”
In 2012 in Pennsylvania alone, 11 percent of babies were born preterm. You can help these babies grow and thrive with your support. You are sure to find a treasure, as the Indoor Yard Sale will feature more than 30 tables of clothing, accessories, home goods, electronics, toys, and more. Your purchase will make a difference in the lives of babies across the U.S. According to the March of Dimes website, nearly 500,000 babies are born too soon each year in the U.S.—that’s one in nine babies. Believe it or not, that rate is higher than that of most developed nations. The March of Dimes hopes to change those heart-breaking statistics.
“The yard sale will feature a wide variety of items,” said Kathy Barillaro, event organizer. “It is a good way to recycle a once treasured item to be used again”
City Centre Shoppes is located on 512 Lawrence Avenue in Ellwood City. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a great bargain hunt while supporting a vital cause!
“This indoor yard sale offers Ellwood City the chance to enjoy a spring/summer event in the winter,” Bartolomeo said. “The best part is there will be multiple sellers, so you will see a big difference in items from table to table.”
Vendor tables are open to members of the community for a small charge and they are not required to donate 10 percent of their sales. For more information contact Brooke at 724-758-2919.
