In honor of Riverside High School’s 50th Anniversary, a group of alumni are working to organize an all inclusive class reunion.
It doesn’t matter if you graduated in 1975 or 2012, you are invited—all Riverside alumni are. The event is planned for May 17, 18, and 19. Tentative plans include a “bonfire” on Friday night at the Pavilion behind the North Sewickley Fire Department. Saturday’s events are still undecided, and organizers are open to suggestions. Event organizers said they are working to plan a tour of the school and a gathering of some kind on Saturday evening. The group also hopes to have a golf outing at Beaver Valley Golf Club or an “outing” at Brush Creek Park.
More information about the reunion is available on the reunion Facebook page: “Riverside High School Graduates of the Past.”
According to organizers, “What we do and where we do it will depend on the level of interest we get so go to the Facebook page ASAP and let us know your level of interest. We would like that page to be the central place for people to go and get and give information. Lets make this reunion a wonderful event! Regular updates will come as they evolve! Go Riverside!”
