Nov. 5, 2013 - Ryan and Kari Shaffer of Ellwood City celebrate their second anniversary today. They were married on Nov. 5, 2011, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, PA. Their wedding was completely Pittsburgh Penguins themed.
The two honeymooned in New Orleans, LA, then went on The Rock Boat.
Currently, the couple has an eight-week-old son, Dexter.
He is the grandson of John and Marianne Kline of Ellwood City, Sean and Lori Hannon of Fombell, and Randy and Alison Shaffer of New Castle.
Dexter weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 19-inches long at birth.
They were married on June 29, 1963, at the Ellport United Presbyterian Church.
Immediately after their Miami Beach Honeymoon, the couple relocated to Copley, Ohio. Mr. Lasso was a teacher for 33 years in the Copley-Fairlawn School System. Together, they have two children Chris (Joanna) Lasso and Nicole (Dave) Benedejcic; and five grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, and Meghan Lasso and Brat and Brady Benedejcic.
