Five Star Wrestling presents ‘November Pain’ at SOI

Free wrestling clinic for EC students

Coach Craig Alberts and the Ellwood City Wolverines wrestling team will host a free two-day wrestling clinic for students on Tuesday, Oct. 28 and Wednesday, Oct. 29  in the Lincoln High School small gym.  The events will run from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on both evenings. Library to host Spooktacular Halloween Party

The Ellwood City Public Library will host the “Spooktacular Halloween Party” on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. The party will feature a play written by local teenagers, games, activities for preschool and elementary children .  Those attending are invited to wear their costumes, and should prepare for plenty of fun! Jerb Miller Scholarship opportunity

Riverside still controls own destiny after loss

One win. Wampum Christmas Parade registration

Wampum, PA – Registration for treat bags from Santa begins Friday Nov. 7 at 6pm at the Wampum Municipal Building on Main Street Extension in Wampum. Playoff updates: Ellwood City and Riverside

Last Friday, the Ellwood City Wolverines (3-3, 4-3) survived a scare by holding off a feisty Mohawk team.  The Warriors climbed within two points of the Wolverines in the fourth quarter, but a later touchdown solidified the victory for Ellwood City who remains in playoff contention.
