Borough Meets with PA American Water to Discuss 4th Street Project

The Ellwood City Borough Manager, Public Works Superintendent, and Council Public Works Chairman Connie MacDonald met with the representatives of Pennsylvania American Water and Mortimer Construction on the morning of January 22, 2015. North Sewickley Police: Missing Person

The North Sewickley Police Department is looking for Russell J. Hines, 36, of Brighton Road, who was reported missing on Wednesday. According to police, Hines was last seen Monday at a relative’s house in Zelienople. Hines is 5 feet, 8 inches and about 178 pounds. He is missing his right ear and has tattoos on both arms. Ellwood Wrestling Smashes Blackhawk; Girls Basketball Falls to Beaver

Audit Finds Ellwood School District’s Technology Outdated

A technology audit presented by Questeq to the Ellwood City Area School Board on January 15th, found the District’s technology outdated and inconsistent. Questeq CEO Jeffrey Main reported that the District’s technology policy is reactive and lacks consistency. Over half of the District’s 2200 devices are over five years old. Lost Dog at Police Kennels

The Ellwood City police kennels is looking for the owner of a Shepard herding dog. The dog was found one week ago without identification. It is brown and white, medium-sized, and blue-eyed.
